Highspeed Air Transport
Kincová, Daniela ; Chlebek, Jiří (referee) ; Šošovička, Róbert (advisor)
This bachelor work brings overview about highspeed air transportation, which has always been and probably always will be a significant part of civil aviation transport. There is a pursuit of special attention to highspeed flying and flying in high altitude, from theoretical and practical terms. This work includes basic technical and ecomomic problems and their solution, associated with transonic and hypersonic flying. Attention is also given to evaluation of historical highspeed attemps. Moreover, it provides an overview about the new projects in supersonic and hypersonic area.
PROSTOROVÁ ORGANIZACE LETECKÉ DOPRAVY V AFRICKÉM REGIONU
MRÁZKOVÁ, Tereza
This bachelor thesis focuses on personal air transport in the Africa continent. In the first part, the general characteristics of air transport, its importance in the world and changes in its development, will be described. The description of the current situation of air transport follows. This part of the thesis tries to explain the causes of the peripheral position within its global distribution. The analytic part of the thesis deals with the flight offers in ten African airports on a specific day in 2006 and 2018. These airports were chosen on the grounds of several factors, e.g. the size according to the volume of transported passengers per year. The data for the implementation of this analysis were taken from the Flightstats database. This database provides information about almost every flight in the world. The results of the analysis provide a view on development and the current situation of domestic, continental and intercontinental air transport in Africa or rather of the airports which are for the African continent crucial.
Nodální regiony v Evropě vymezené na základě letecké dopravy
ROZKOŠNÝ, Filip
This master´s thesis deals with the delineating of nodal regions via civil aviation data in the territory of central European states. This kind of transport has become a very popular type of spatial mobility after its deregulation and liberalization particularly thanks to its speed, cheaper fares and relative safety. Thanks to this spatial mobility of inhabitants, it is possible to delineate borders of regions according to real movements. Supposing usage of aviation data to delineate nodal regions, the airports represent their nodes. The purpose of this master´s thesis was delineating nodal regions via civil transport data in an interesting territory of Central Europe. Its western and eastern part has undergone different historical and political development which has had consequences on the aviation development level. Research input data included number of flights between central European airports for the period of 1 day. The master´s thesis is structured into 5 chapters. The first parts are: introduction and goals, theoretical part and methodology. The analytical part evaluates the whole nodal-region-delineating process and also nodal regions final hierarchical structure. Each partial part of research was depicted into a map and was also expressed by population and area. There are answers on the input hypothesis in the final part of this paper.

Air transport in international trade and tourism
Vaňkát, Jan ; Sato, Alexej (advisor) ; Švábková, Eva (referee)
The bachelor thesis describes changes in air transport related to usage of up-to-date knowledge and information technology, emphasizing the role of the International Air Transport Association. The role of air transport in tourism is characterized at first, this part deals with development of distribution of air transport, importance of global distribution systems and transition to electronic tickets. Particular projects from International Air Transport Association's programme Simplifying the Business are included next. The thesis concludes with chapter about air cargo, in which the International Air Transport Association's project e-freight is stressed.
